This week CNN went out of its way to defend Obama against a recent SNL sketch. Why?

It seems every show and segment of CNN went out of their way to defend Obama against a SNL sketch that criticized Obama as a do nothing President. Why do you think they did so?

I don't know, I didn't see it, I don't have cable so don't see CNN and didn't see SNL this week.
But I think it is funny that SNL, often criticized for being too liberal, but always going after politicians regardless is being singled out. Maybe SNL is just getting a little free publicity. Other times SNL sketches make the news, regardless of who they are targeting, look at how Tina Fey's Sarah Palin imitations were played on the network news last year. It was so frequent people actually think it was Sarah Palin who said "I can see Russia from my house", not Tina Fey.
But my argument for years has been, whether it is Fox or CNN or whatever, networks should be neutral ground. Both sides can give their comments or editorials, as long as they are stated as such. But I don't think a network or station should be 'liberal' or 'conservative'. ( This has been an Editorial Comment)

Simple: They're the salivating lap-dogs of the so-called messiah. Just wait -- it won't be long before the writers for SNL are vilified as racists.

CNN is a liberal hippie station that worships the ground Obama walks on.
