I'm from England where we have many different accents. Then, suddenly when you hear news anchors or an tv presenter talk they all talk with the same accent/voice. Are they trained to speak a certain way?

I get two BBC channels in the U.S. on cable but they dont speak very well, and there are too many black and Indian presenters. What happened to the posh English accent the BBC was reknowned for? In the old days they were supposed to have a standard inflection and accent. If you feel they do now, it certainly is not very cultured one.

Probably they are not hired unless the show director likes the way they talk.

They were all educated in the same way or they were taught to imitate their role model..

No, there is at least one whose English accent sounds as if he comes from Wales.

They don't (UK). Was the case years ago, but regional accents are heard all the time now.

Even the regional accents don't sound real, they're too posh.

Regional dialects have come more to the fore in recent times. But the one thing they must all have is clear diction.
