The Pentagon Papers case showed that the rights of a newspaper to print material the government would rather not see printed is more important than the state's desires to not have it printed. Whether or not there is "aid" to the enemy is not relevant.

The Bush adminsitration is the enemy. For that matter I don't regard the NY Times as much as a value add. Remember this is where Judith Miller, the media whore, came from.

Absolutely not. A little amendment gives the "Times" freedom of speech. They are allowed to publish whatever they want, even if it may include criticism or secrets of the US government.

I think the government WILL close down newspapers very soon unless they can control what they write.
