FOX news seems to be the only major news channel digging into the facts on Obama...why is this?

Lately it's been the Obama-Ayers relationship, and now I just saw something about him and some radical black communist mentioned in his book "dreams of my father". How come FOX news seems to be the only news channel even slightly trying to investigate Obama? The guy is running for president you know, so how come you never hear about the facts anywhere else. For god sakes Obama makes MSNBC want to cream in their pants and CNN (other than Glenn Beck and Lou Dobbs) is right behind them. Has any other newchannel ever investigated Obama?

Fox news always reminded me of that old Soviet style newspaper called Pravda (The truth) during the cold war years. It, too, had a doctrine which was merely a mouthpiece for the Russian poitburo the same as Fox News has for the Bush administration. They're bascially just an updated version of yellow journalism, and not worth watching because of their bias slant and fabricated stories they run just to increase their ratings. All the other networks have their opinions and viewpoints, but at least they don't border on sensationalism as their primary mode of what they consider fair and balanced reporting of the news.

Facts??? It's a hatchet job. Fox News believes in the adage 'where there's smoke, there's fire' so ever since Obama was elected, they've raised suspicions about everything, hoping something will stick in the public's imagination: ACORN, birth certificate, he's a communist, he's a socialist, he's a fascist, he hates America, he's an atheist, the FOCA bill that he's going to pass, death panels. It's all subterfuge and lies. As long as they can raise a cloud of suspicion where there is nothing remotely truthful in what they say, they've accomplished their mission.

Fox isn't digging, it's just repeating republican innuendos.



It can't even find a picture or witness of Obama and Ayers even in the same room, much less "palling around."



About as deep as they go is to read his books, and try to warp whatever is in there.





If they did the same "fair and balanced" thing to McCain's books (not written by him), they'd find he admits he was a goof-off at the Naval Academy, was in combat for only 40 hours during his whole career, crashed four planes due to negligence, and broke his arms while ejecting because he had not memorized the ejection procedure.



And if you want to talk about his association with shady types, McCain admits to being close friends with G Gordon Liddy, Watergate burglar, a convicted felon, who still promotes shooting federal agents in the head. He's on tape voluntarily saying he admires Liddy's values. You won't see this on Fox News.



They also won't mention McCains association with a certain European billionaire scam artist, of which there are pictures. Or his long friendship with Charles Keating, $300 billion lS&L oser, flying with him on his plane to long vacations in the Bahamas. You won't hear this on Fox news.

All Presidents have gone under similar scrutiny. Stop treating us like children. Fox's owner Rupert Murdoch has always hated liberals. But if Republicans take over, they will continue lowering taxes for the wealthy and the poor and middle class will have to make up for it. So unless you're wealthy, this is what will happen. The GOP is already talking about another tax break for the wealthy next year.
