What kind of cancer did michael Crichton die of?

The great author died recently of cancer. on his web page is says his family would like some privacy. I'm doing a report on him, and I need to know what kind of cancer it was.

It is not known what kind of cancer Michael Crichton had. There are a lot of rumors flying around but nothing reliable or verifiable. I think many publications that stating what kind of cancer it was are just reprinting rumors. As it was Dr. Crichton’s wish that it be kept private, I won’t speculate myself.



As a former high school English teacher, I can tell you that you do not need to know what kind of cancer it was. It would be more professional and correct to state in your paper that it is unknown for certain what kind of cancer Michael Crichton had. Crichton himself disliked people passing off rumors as facts.

I didn't even know he had passed away. Man, what a bummer. You should probably check out one of those gossip places like E on line or something. They probably would know. Or just Google it and see what comes up. Hope this helps!!

He died of Lymphoma.
